We are seeking an EXCEPTIONAL Telephone Operator who takes pride in their work, loves to be of servitude to others, a great TEAM player, and an open-growth mindset. Answer incoming calls and distribute calls to the appropriate person, screen incoming calls to determine the necessity for the person requested to receive the call. Take messages accurately, completely, and distribute in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.
Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating patient appts, which includes scheduling, rescheduling, canceling. Follow up and contact patients regarding appt recall, Recare, Brevium, Solution Reach, Website contact, email contact and other practice operation platforms for appt scheduling/rescheduling, referral request, etc. according to established policy, and customer service standards. Perform work with a focus on effective communications and accurate documentation.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of medical office experience
Preferred minimum of 1 year appts scheduling for multiple physicians & locations
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
- Extraordinary Customer Service and Team Member Relations – REQUIRED!
- Medical experience is a plus, but not required
- Multiline phone system experience preferred
- NextGen or other similar medical office software
- Ability to address patient complaints and effectively resolve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help people
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
