Primary Job Duties

The primary duties of this position involve placing and receiving professional phone calls to support new business and client service initiatives. A key component of this position is projecting a friendly demeanor and providing professional communications. The position also requires accurate data entry and efficient management of personal workload. The characteristics of reliability, punctuality and honesty are also integral to the successful completion of essential job duties. The position is classified as non-exempt/hourly. The current opening is classified as part-time.

Job Duties

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Use questioning and listening skills that support effective telephone communication.

• Use the most appropriate way to communicate with different behavior types on the telephone.

• Apply appropriate actions to effectively control a telephone call.

• Handle technical telephone tasks like call transfers, holds, unintentional disconnects, etc.

• Follow procedures and accurately enter data into CRM system and rating program.

• Other duties as assigned.

Educational and Background Requirements

The individual must have at least a high school degree. The individual must be capable of passing a background check demonstrating the absence of any criminal record regarding theft, violence, or any other characteristic involving honesty or integrity.

Physical Requirements

Employee must be capable of using a computer keyboard without assistance and must be articulate and easy to understand. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
