Contact Center Agent - Rangemaster

Guns.com is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Contact Center at the Guns.com headquarters in Burnsville, MN. This is a full time, 40 hour per week, permanent position with hourly pay and benefits. Multiple shifts are available, Monday through Friday, days.

Rangemasters primarily handle phone calls and emails in order to advise, support, and counsel our customers and dealer partners by answering questions related to products and processes involved in buying or selling firearms online.

The ideal individual will have great phone skills, be able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, build relationships with customers, and efficiently and effectively handle customer contacts. The best candidates will possess a customer service focused mindset, strong written, verbal, and organizational skills, and a firm grasp of common business software applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to assess and resolve inquiries related to Guns.com products, services, and processes
• Effectively communicate with customers via email and other channels
• Facilitate order management, fulfillment, returns, and inventory management
• Proactively engage with related businesses to support and assist in order management
• Fulfill company objectives of continually improving customer experience
• Collaborate with others as part of a team in a rapid-paced, goal-oriented, customer-centric environment
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely feedback with fellow team members in frequent, cross-functional meetings

Required Experience/Skills:

• Strong phone and written communication skills
• Enjoy working with people and helping others
• Active listening skills with the ability to empathize with others
• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills in high-pressure situations
• Keyboarding with at least 30 wpm typing ability
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite of programs, business apps and a familiarity with internet shopping
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment
• Consistently available for required shift

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with customer service Contact Center technologies
• Customer service roles working with the general public in retail sales settings
• Firearms industry knowledge, interest and experience a plus
