Job Summary
The Consumer Marketing Coordinator serves as a liaison to the Consumer, Government Programs, Medicare, Agent and Retail Markets to effectively coordinate the development and production of marketing and advertising materials, campaigns and webpages. Incumbent serves as a project manager, ensuring marketing projects are delivered on strategy, on time and on budget. Incumbent works closely with internal teams and external advertising agencies to strategize and plan various traditional and digital marketing campaigns, with channels and mediums such as digital display ads, paid and organic social media, outdoor boards, TV, radio, signage, landing pages, vanity URL's, Search Engine Marketing, direct mail, email, text and Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys. Incumbent is responsible for working with the Digital Experience team to ensure marketing and product content is up-to-date online and in the mobile app. This position provides product and sales materials and collateral that support the overall strategy and direction of the company, including, digital and printed brochures, flyers, postcards, print ads and presentations. Individual also works with internal teams and external vendors to produce marketing materials, promo items, signage and marketing campaigns for the ArkansasBlue Welcome Centers. The insurance products and programs the incumbent is responsible for supporting include Under-65 On- and Off-exchange Affordable Care Act (ACA), ARHOME Medicaid, Limited Duration, Dental, Vision, GeoBlue international travel health insurance and/or Medicare. Incumbent writes, reviews and edits content for said materials and campaigns that complies with regulations and directives from governing agencies such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Arkansas Insurance Department (AID) and the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS).
Requirements
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' experience in one of these fields will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum three (3) years' experience in writing and implementing marketing campaigns including tracking campaign performance against budget and sales lead goals. OR applicable Masters in related field with minimum one (1) years' experience.
Minimum three (3) years' experience in communications, public relations or marketing project management in a business environment.
Proven writing and editing ability and experience in marketing and promotional materials.
Understanding of the sales and marketing process.
Basic working knowledge of website content preparation and website language for public internet and intranet support.
Broad understanding of the health-care system in Arkansas and our Plan's role in it.

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with people in all areas inside and outside the company.
Proficiency using word processing and advertising design, with working knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
The creative ability to conceive, adapt and implement effective communication.
Ability to communicate with audiences at all levels inside and outside the company. Ability to work alongside executive leadership to provide communications direction and support.
Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and resources to accomplish communications objectives.
Ability to function without supervision and to initiate correspondence, reports and memos.
Ability to work in teams, both as a team member and as a team leader.
***This role is NOT 100% remote, and the selected candidate will be required to come into the office 1-3 times per week depending on business needs.***

Responsibilities
Assists in the development of communications and marketing plans. Coordinates preparation of marketing materials to introduce products and services to prospects and/or existing customers. Works with ad agency(ies) and internal staff members to find the best resource for creating marketing and advertising materials, Manages the marketing calendar for Consumer and Retail Markets to ensure projects are completed timely, on strategy and within specified budget, Manages the relationship with the direct response marketing agency and other agencies as needed to coordinate campaigns throughout the year. Works closely with agency representatives and external vendors as needed to support enterprise marketing goals and objectives, Monitors marketing campaign results and communicates with Consumer and Retail Markets to adjust marketing strategy as needed to meet objectives and goals, Supports other division activities, as assigned, Works closely with Consumer and Retail Markets staff and agency(ies) representatives to determine local marketing and sales needs, Works with the Compliance and Legal departments, coordinates annual compliance review and maintains compliance requirements throughout the year in all marketing materials according to audience. Demonstrates knowledge of the regulations governing the production of marketing materials such as CMS, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association marketing guidelines and Arkansas Insurance Department regulations
