SalarySummary:
The Consultant Database Team (CDT) is a centralized center of excellence within the Client Platform Group, responsible for support of the firm’s marketing and sales efforts through the distribution of content on the firm’s strategies and data via Consultant Databases. The team partners with the Consultant Relations Team, Sales, investment teams and business support functions to service client’s needs for data and information on the firm’s products.
We are seeking a successful candidate to work within the Consultant Database Team on content relating to equity, fixed income and multi-asset class strategies. The successful candidates should have strong desire to foster key relationships, deliver high quality content and improve processes.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary data contact for Relationship Managers on key Consultant relationships
- Aggregate investment strategy performance and analytics data utilizing strong data management skills
- Complete consultant driven questionnaires / requests regarding investment products on a monthly or quarterly basis
- Review product profiles for accuracy and that product narratives such as investment summary, investment philosophy, etc. are up to date
- Research, initiate and implement innovative ideas and creative approaches to help increase the efficiency and further the goals of the Consultant Database team
- Ensure detailed understanding of the firm's products and investment processes to facilitate accurate and relevant distribution of information
- Complete various value added projects for Sales and Investment teams including competitor and peer ranking analysis, search activity trends and other general analysis
- Collaborate with various internal teams on internal projects
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related major preferred
- 3+ years of experience, preferably, at an asset management firm
- Excellent time-management, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively with senior sales professionals, portfolio managers and subject matter experts.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with the population of Consultant Databases and/or eVestment Analytics preferred
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
