Construction/Civil Engineer

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Construction/Civil Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This position provides general engineering review and design for projects on and off airport grounds.
Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for the design of FAA buildings, equipment shelters, communication centers and access roads.
• Responsible for the review of other designs of FAA buildings, equipment shelters, communication centers and access roads.
• Responsible for the construction oversight and review of FAA buildings, equipment shelters, communication centers and access roads.
• Responsible for the maintenance of FAA buildings, roads, taxiways, equipment shelters and other FAA equipment locations.
• Responsible for designing and planning civil engineering projects such as roads, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation systems, pipelines and power plants.
• Analyze maps, blueprints, drawings, tests and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects.
• Responsible for entire projects or processes within a technical area.
• Work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables.
• Responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level technical staff.
• Develop technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.
• Develop solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
• Communicate with internal and client project team members.
• Work to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.

Skills Required:

• Deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas.
• US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Skills Preferred:

• Prior FAA experience.
• Knowledge/experience of airports.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience OR
• Master's degree and 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
