-Responsibilities-
Perform basic framing to exterior finish work. Responsible for constructing a quality building including but not limited to: installing footings, framing, installing building accessories, and sheathing of structure.
-Qualifications-
Ideal candidates would have previous carpentry experience or the strong desire to learn.
Knowledge and experience using hand tools, power tools and various construction equipment preferred. Experience in post-frame construction is a plus.
The ability to work effectively as a team member.
Willingness to comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work at various heights.
Ability to bend, stoop, and pickup product from various elevations.
Ability to work in various types of weather conditions.
-Benefits-
We offer a pay rate starting at $25.00/hour based on experience. Our benefit package includes: bad weather pay ($120 a day when the weather inhibits work to be done.) Paid holidays, 5 paid sick days after 90 days of employment, 1 week vacation after 1 year anniversary with the company (2 weeks paid vacation after 2 years, 3 weeks paid vacation after 3 years).
What to expect:
-Steady and reliable work year round
-5 Day work week, no work during the weekends.
-No overnight travel required. All of our jobs are located within Douglas, Elbert, and Arapahoe counties. (Less than 1 hour of drive time for each job.)
-Some basic hand tools required, but all other tools and equipment are provided by the company.
-We work with scissor lifts on each of our jobs which helps our crew work safer and more efficiently.
-Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit.
We ask that you have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
