Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of welding works and non-destructive testing within the project, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets related to Welding and NDT activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to design and optimize welding procedures and NDT methods.
  • Select and supervise contractors, ensuring their qualifications and performances align with project requirements.
  • Conduct and oversee quality assurance and control activities related to welding works and NDT, including inspection and verification of work.
  • Identify and analyze potential risks and challenges related to Welding and NDT, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for project team members on welding techniques and NDT procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide progress reports to upper management.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate project outcomes, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Higher Education in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on welding works and non-destructive testing.
  • Relevant certifications in Welding and NDT, such as AWS, CWI, or ASNT.
