Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Sales Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling NDT services and equipment to various industries, including aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, and construction. The role requires a deep understanding of NDT technologies and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets set by the organization.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the NDT market locally and regionally.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultation to clients on NDT services and equipment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and establish new client relationships.
  • Collaborate with NDT technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to network and promote our NDT services.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in NDT technology.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Some college preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the NDT space or a related industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of NDT methods and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite of applications.


Compensation Structure:

Base Salary: $35,000 - $40,000

Commission: Competitive commission structure based on achieving sales targets

  • Structure: The commission structure is based on net sales profit margin. The commission will be paid out quarterly, within 30 days of quarter end, and tied to specific sales targets. As an example, the tiers could utilize the following structure:
  • Tier 1: 15% commission up to the first $250,000 in sales
  • Tier 2: 25% commission on the next $250,000 ($250,000 - $500,000) in sales
  • Tier 3: 30% commission on sales above $500,000
