Construction Surveyor

Salary: $60k - $75k DOE

We are now hiring an experienced surveyor to work with our field crews to provide an error-free layout based on the coordinates and elevations shown in the contract documents.  The experienced individual must possess extensive knowledge of engineering instruments such as a total station, an automatic level, and laser pipe levels. Must be able to lay out flatwork, underground utilities, as well as vertical structures. The candidate must have the following attributes:

 

 

• Mathematical and analytical skills
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction surveying

• Experience in reading construction drawings.
• Knowledge of using Trimble Robotic Total Station surveying equipment 
• Knowledge of GPD of GIS
• Create accurate maps and reports.
• Must be familiar with surveying and CAD software.
• Must be able to work in the field and perform layout daily.
• Self-driven and organized.
• Attention to detail.
• Willing to take directions & suggestions from superiors.
• Willing to work in a constantly changing environment.
• Efficient multi-tasker
• Proactive & Goal Oriented
• Problem Solving Skills
