Seeking an experienced Construction QA Specialist with a focus on Electrical systems for our data center construction projects. This role involves ensuring the highest quality and reliability of electrical installations, critical for uninterrupted data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
- MUST HAVE ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE!! DATA CENTER CONSTRUCTION IS A PLUS!!
- Implement site-specific quality control plans.
- Review and maintain Quality Process Log.
- Be fully aware of the contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes.
- Perform daily field inspections to verify contractor’s work complies with the project specifications and applicable codes.
- Review potential discrepancy reports, track discrepancies, and verify corrective actions prior to closure.
- Direct the removal and replacement of non-conforming work and stop work not in compliance with the contract.
- Review the Subcontractors Quality Control Daily Logs.
- Receive subcontractor test and inspection requests and produce a coordinated Daily Test and Inspection Schedule.
- Audit subcontractor quality control procedures.
- Document and submit a Daily Report of Quality Control activity.
- Actively participate in the Work Completion Tagging Process, In-house Punch List Process, and the Pre-Final Punch List Process to document deficient items in the field.
- Perform material inspections to verify that the products are to specifications and that storage, staging and material handling methods are implemented.
- Coordinate offsite equipment source inspections.
- Submit and review RFIs to ensure changes are implemented in the field.
- The position is approximately 100% field work for Data Center Construction.
Role Requirements
- · Minimum of 5 years construction experience, preferably with QA experience.
- · Proven track record of delivering results in a high-performance continuous improvement environment.
- · Effectively articulates issues, facilitates their resolution and presents results verbally and in writing to multiple levels in the organization.
- · Ability to quickly adapt into a new organization and make immediate impact through a positive and proactive nature, high energy level and credible experience.
- · Must have strong interpersonal skills, be goal and performance oriented and be able to set priorities, establish work plans and provide specific management feedback.
- · Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy.

Education:
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong emphasis on data center electrical systems. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of formal education for candidates demonstrating extensive expertise in data center electrical systems and quality assurance.
Experience:
- Proven experience in electrical quality assurance, preferably in data center construction.
- In-depth knowledge of data center electrical requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
Work Location:
- Primarily based at a single location with the possibility of assignments involving multiple locations.
