Qualifications & Experience:
· Possess OSHA 30-hour Certificate, or ability to obtain certification.
· Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; time management, multi-tasking, attention to detail and follow-through skills.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds in weight; work outside in all types of weather; climb ladders, stairs; walk and work on uneven ground and surfaces; work around loud noises and potentially hazardous materials; wear safety / protective equipment.
· Ability to demonstrate leadership attributes that would include instilling confidence in yourself and others; effectively motivate and influence the actions and opinions of others; capable of accepting feedback and suggestions, including team members in decision making, facilitating and process improvement.
· Ability to operate an automobile with a valid CA driver’s license and clean, insurable driving record.
· In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
· Proficient in reading plans, specifications, contracts, and purchase orders.

· Required: Successful candidates must pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: drug screen and background check. Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent; Some college coursework in Construction Management is preferred.
· Minimum of five (5) or more years of construction experience with supervisory and/or project oversight experience
Skills:
· Proficiency in using Procore, Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Project
· Excellent problem/conflict resolution skills, ability to handle and diffuse difficult situations and customer concerns in a positive manner.
· A high degree of professionalism, tact, and ability to influence others.
· Ability to prioritize projects, work against deadlines and organize workflow with multiple interruptions.
· Sound judgment, ability to make decisions, work, and act independently, and seek assistance or consult with more senior construction personnel when necessary.
Responsibilities:
· Attend and represent RCI at job walks, pre-construction and construction meetings.
· Oversight of all self-performed and subcontractor trade work in the field, daily reporting.
· Contract interpretation and execution, conflict resolution, and claims avoidance.
· Change order management.
· Maintain and build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
· Creating and maintaining construction scheduling, phasing, and sequencing.
· Prepares correspondence with Owner, Architect, Engineers, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc. Examples of referenced correspondence include, but not confined to, the following items: Schedule of Values, project schedule, memos, request for information, transmittals, and submittals.
· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
· Establish baseline schedule from the job estimate.
· Coordinate on-site and off-site construction activity for the scope of work and for all trades.
· Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates for materials.
· Supervise the work of laborers and subcontractors at several project sites within San Luis Obispo and neighboring counties.
· Communicate safety standards to laborers and subcontractors; enforce safety regulations on all job sites.
· Manage the site to follow SWPPPS, OSHA and any other applicable governing agency.
· Interact daily with various departments of company, subcontractors, and project inspectors.
