Commercial Construction Project Manager

Company Level Objectives
- Project Team Captain responsible for charting out key project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, selecting project participants, and ensuring financial success of the project.
- Optimum utilization of resources- including labor, materials equipment, and team member resources to achieve shared goals.
- Implementation of various operations through proper coordination.
- Development of effective communication mechanisms for resolving conflicts among all project stakeholders including Clients, Subcontractors, Inspectors, and the like.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline or 5 years’ experience
- 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on multifamily, hotel or high-rise Construction Projectspreferred.
- Strong computer skills are a necessity, including familiarity with Construction Project management applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and are required to interface directly with trade contractors, owners' representatives, the design team, building departments and other team members
- Strong leadership skills are required
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Project management finance skills are required
- Must be able to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather
- Served as the primary point of contact with owners/clients, architects, trade partners, and other industry representatives
- Lead project teams and delegate roles and responsibilities.
- Familiar use with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, and Outlook
