Construction Project Manager

Carver Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to Bid, Plan and Manage commercial Construction Projects, from start to finish, while ensuring they are completed in a timely, efficient and profitable manner. The ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of all construction methods and procedures, as well as be able to coordinate within a team of professionals of different disciplines. Strong organizational and analytical skills are a must.

Project Manager Position Description

-       Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects and other workers within a project.

-       Choose subcontractors and delegate their responsibilities.

-       Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal and administrative requirements.

-       Prepare budgets, cost estimates and work schedules.

-       Monitor and report project progress and budget to clients.

-       Explain contracts and other technical matters relating to a project.

-       High degree of self-motivation and managing projects with little supervision.

-       Be able to juggle multiple projects in various stages.

Position Requirements

-       5+ years as a Construction Project Manager.

-       Able to proficiently use computers, and other technology. 

-       Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).

Other Desired Qualities

-       Experience with Redteam, ProCore or similar Construction Management Software.

-       Experience managing Construction Projects at the City, State, and Federal level.

-       Knowledge of local construction techniques, competitors and practices.

-       Ability to take the initiative and solve small problems before they escalate.

-       Comfortable using Apple computers and iOS operating system.
