Our national construction firm seeks a Orlando, FL based Construction Project Manager for interior/exterior renovation projects located throughout the U.S. Our services spread throughout the Multi-family, Senior Housing, Student Housing and Low Income Tax Credit Housing Industries. General Position Description:
A Project Manager ensures high-quality results on all projects through the quality control of materials, workmanship, services, selection of subcontractors, selection of suppliers and meeting project budget and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Creating and maintaining the project schedule
- Creating and maintaining the project budgets through cost approval
- Qualify, subcontract, and manage subcontractors
- Qualify, process purchase orders, and manage suppliers and material
- Preparing owner pay applications
- Communication to customers and project engineers.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
- Customer-focused mentality
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Able to work independently and remotely
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- 5-8 years of construction experience
- Advanced knowledge with an eye for quality workmanship in the construction industry
- Budgeting/forecasting experience, and general accounting knowledge required
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Valid driver license with dependable transportation required
- Background check will be required
- US travel will be required
- Flexibility to work an ever-changing schedule (evenings, holidays, weekends may be required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project is strongly preferred
- Experience in Procore is a plus
- Certification in OSHA (10 Hours+) Safety Training strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Construction Management Degree a plus
- Multifamily experience a plus
- Experience with exterior renovation and waterproofing is preferred
- Reconstruction experiences a plus
- Based in the Orlando, FL area a plus
