Passionate about working on extraordinary Construction Projects? Do you have a high standard for both time management and working within budget? If so, you’re probably a great fit for our Project Engineer for City Homes Town Home Construction Group. Reporting to the Project Superintendent Construction Manager, you’ll be managing the operational tools to construct projects while assisting the superintendent in the field.
YOU BRING...
Strong and detailed-oriented document organizational skills, the abilities of a resourceful self-starter who can learn quickly, has excellent communication skills and are comfortable working on your own as well as part of a cross-functional team.
YOU WILL:
· Perform full reviews of plan sets (Civil, Structural, Architectural, etc.) for accuracy and distribute to appropriate parties and maintain a log to track changes.
- Assist with all aspects of managing subcontractors, including but not limited to, coordinating and scheduling, drafting, reviewing, executing, and tracking contracts, and ensuring appropriate insurance and safety requirements are in place.
- Prepare OAC meeting minutes and distribute in a timely manner.
- Assist with the scheduling of inspections by completing inspection sheets.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of RFI’s and change orders.
- Create punch lists, perform weekly updates and distribute to appropriate subcontractors.
- Create O&M manuals.
- Ensure as-builts are up to date and changes have been implemented.
- Assist with lien releases.
- Create or follow an already put in place process to efficiently retain, log and manage all documents, plan sets, contracts, submittals, etc.
