Hardened Structures Hardened Shelters LLC is experiencing tremendous growth in the fortified home, underground shelter, hardened facilities and off-grid sustainability market both here in the US and abroad. We are seeking an experienced Construction Professional, Engineer or Architect in Virginia to join our select team.
Responsibilities:
- Professional persona to meet with high-net worth clients and government officials, frequent travel to remote locations required.
-Ability to professionally manage all aspects of confidential site assessments, feasibility studies, protection programming, estimating-scheduling, predesign, design, and construction phases.
- Ability to manage speciality consultants for security assessments, risk assessments, Red Team analysis, CBRN air filtration systems, EMP (electromagnetic pulse) shielding, blast-ballistic analysis, site/facility protection, and security systems.
- Manage client relations, maintain established confidentiality and security-secrecy protocols, take ownership and full responsibility for project success.
- Assist with business development and company growth.
Requirements:
- 8 years proven experience in managing complex design-build construction projects including reinforced concrete, structural steel, large earth-work operations, speciality systems, logistics, and site security.
- BS in CM, engineering or architectural, PE, RA preferred.
- Physical stamina with ability to travel-hike in mountainous areas, desert regions, and tropical areas.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to pass security screening.
- Former USACOE project experience or military background helpful.
We offer specialized training in the planning, programming, design and covert construction of hardened below ground and above ground shelters, hardened homes, alternative energy systems, climate change mitigation, sustainability and fortified compounds. This is a growth industry in a niche market with an established 35-year company.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
