Position:Construction Management Intern
Location: LaGrange, Illinois
Duration: 8-week summer program
Overview: This internship is designed for junior or senior college students aspiring to learn and grow into an Associate Estimator/Associate Project Manager position upon graduation. The focus will be on pre-construction and project management aspects within an industrial electrical construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of the electrical construction industry.
- Learn the basics of electrical estimating and project management through a comprehensive 8-week program.
- Demonstrate a quick learning ability and take self-development initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with the team.
- Possess good listening skills and follow directions attentively.
- Utilize technology proficiently (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Exhibit curiosity and ask well-thought-out questions.
- Work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Construction Management program or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing in college.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Strong math aptitude skills.
- Effective communicator with both verbal and written skills.
- Demonstrated interest in developing a career within the construction industry.
