Construction Laborer

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual to join our team as a Laborer. As a vital member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting with various manual labor tasks to support the completion of projects in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
• Operate hand tools and power tools
• Support the team with any additional tasks as required

· Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.

· Position, join, align, and seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections and pipes.

· Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed.

· Assist with loading, unloading, and identifying building materials, machinery, and tools, and distributing them to the appropriate locations.

· Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures.

· Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a laborer or construction role is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical tasks
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license

· Office located in Bosque Farms. Projects in various areas of the state. Silver City, Albuquerque, Ft. Wingate, and Belen.

Job Type: Full-time

· Willing to Travel out of Town at least Four Days a Week. Monday-Thursday. Unless more days are needed to complete the Construction schedule.

· Base Rate DOE. New Mexico Wage Rate Projects A, B, & H. The company will cover Hotel Rooms and Per Diem Reimbursement.

Expected hours: 40 per week
