Construction Helper

Responsibilities:

- Assist with various construction tasks under the guidance of skilled workers

- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and removing debris

- Load and unload materials and equipment

- Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures

- Mix and apply plaster or other materials to walls, ceilings, or surfaces

- Assist with masonry work, such as mixing mortar, laying bricks or stones, and applying mortar or grout

- Lay tiles on floors, walls, or other surfaces using adhesive, grout, or mortar

- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently

- Assist with plumbing tasks, such as installing pipes or fixtures and repairing leaks

- Operate heavy equipment, such as bulldozers or excavators, as needed

- Apply caulk or other sealants to fill gaps or cracks in structures

-Secure necessary supplies for job sites and follow all part pick up guidelines

Skills:

- Ability to self motivate and follow directions

-Valid state drives license

-Ability to follow directions

- Competence in operating power tools safely and effectively

- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus

- Ability to apply caulk or sealants accurately to fill gaps or cracks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
