Summary of Position

We are seeking a qualified Construction Foreman for our growing team. The Foreman will report directly to the Project Manager. A successful candidate should have eight or more years of experience in the construction industry and knowledge of architectural drawings and plans to be able to manage the job efficiently. Strong leadership skills are a must have. We offer a competitive salary, bonuses, a company provided vehicle/car allowance with a fuel card, and comprehensive benefits. Typical Responsibilities/Essential Functions

1. Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 3 to 6 individuals.

2. Strong organization and leader

3. Interpret budgets project plans, and specifications.

4. Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job.

5. Responsible for approving crew time and maintaining daily notes/pictures in our system.

6. Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.

7. Perform other related duties and responsibilities (as required).

8. Out of town travel (when necessary)

Requirements

1. Minimum 8 years of professional construction experience.

2. Current Driver’s License

3. Strong leadership skills

4. Strong time management and organization skills

5. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving entire body such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of material

6. Understand and follow oral and written instruction

7. Establish and maintain effective working relationship with those contacted in the course of work.

8. Must be willing to work Monday-Friday.

9. Must be reliable to get to work on time, ready with all necessary tools and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
