Construction Field Project Manager

The Field Project Manager must be able to analyze blueprints and other documentation to proactively manage each project from preconstruction, construction, and post construction; consult and coordinate with clients, vendors, and our office and field team members; confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to properly plan the work.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance to the contract.
• Prepare proposed change orders and prepare notices.
• Develop detailed schedules and manage them.
• Develop project specific earned value reports.
• Read specifications and drawings.
• Review/ prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Be a problem solver.
• Ensure conformance to the contract documents and manage documents.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Obtain and quantify bids, prepare, and issue purchase orders.
• Review subcontract agreement, and 3D models for potential field issues.
• Travel as required to meet client needs and assist project team members as required to fulfill our objectives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction and project management (preferred).
• Aptitude for mathematics.
• Be able to analyze.
• Compare and interpret detailed information.
• Make sound and accurate judgments.
• Be detail oriented, assertive, and self-confident in presenting and supporting conclusions.
• Competently use computers and computer programs like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project), and Bluebeam Revu PDF software.
• Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with the project team and client. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
