Required Experiences:
- Ability to work with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers.
- Proficiency in mathematics, statistics and data analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of relevant technical and non-technical documents.
- Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
- Experience with Project Management software such as Monday.com.
- Background in Project Management and/or Railroad Crossing Warning Systems is highly advantageous.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze costs and prepares accurate estimates on construction projects in various stages of project development.
- Attend on-site prebid meetings with customers and potential clients.
- Collect all pertinent documents including but not limited to: budgeting, technical drawings and project specifications.
- Drafting proposals that detail materials, labor, and equipment.
- Coordination with railroad representatives on potential projects.
- Ensuring all projects bid are to CDL Electric standards using quality/approved products.
- Develops estimates in consideration with safety regulations, codes and compliance.
- Provide support, guidance, and advice to the Construction Managers.
- Review job costing reports to obtain data for future estimate adjustments.
- Detailed and timely site surveys.
- Occasional travel - less that 25%
