Construction Estimator

Golden Coast Construction & Restoration is currently seeking a full-time Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team and support the successful completion of our projects throughout Greater Seattle, WA. No two days are the exact same as you play a vital role in estimating costs and resources for potential jobs.

YOUR SCHEDULE

This estimating position usually works from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

YOUR DAY

As a Construction Estimator, your day-to-day responsibilities revolve around generating accurate estimates and demonstrating to clients why they should choose us. You work closely with project managers, clients, adjusters, and other team members to ensure timely and comprehensive estimates. To get the most accurate estimates possible, you review project plans and documents, identify overhead costs, analyze industry trends, and evaluate potential risks. You offer cost-saving alternatives when appropriate and help sell the approved contract.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, including negotiations
• Proficiency with technology and software such as MS Office, Xactimate, or EagleView
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

A master's degree would be preferred. Any relevant certifications would be a plus!
