SUMMIT Engineering, Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) Company has an opening in our Construction Services Department. UES is a nationwide leader in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, Building Code Compliance, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Building Envelope.
Your role as a Field Inspector will put you at the forefront of projects that are transforming communities. You will become an expert in concrete and soils field sampling, testing procedures, verification procedures, and the application of various construction materials. With projects ranging from complex roadway construction to single-family residential communities, you will gain the knowledge and experience necessary to take your skills to the next
What You'll Do:
Travel to various job sites in a company provided vehicle
Perform sampling and testing on construction materials, such as concrete, soils, and asphalt using field equipment
Observing and documenting field activity and reporting the findings to clients, supervisors and project managers
Reading maps, following directions, and interpreting engineering and construction plans
Communicate verbally and electronically with various field personnel and colleagues
Other duties as assigned

High school or equivalent (Required)
