Job description

About the Position: The incumbent of this position will serve as a Construction Control Representative within the Portland District, Engineering and Construction Division, Construction Branch, and will support both Veteran's Affairs Support and Resident Office efforts. The Offices are responsible for construction engineering management consisting of contract administration, quality assurance, safety, and environmental oversight.Qualifications: Who May Apply: US Citizens

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) evaluating contractor's compliance with contract requirements, (2) conducting inspections in the field, (3) assessing contractor quality control processes, AND (4) reviewing contractors pay estimates for correctness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).Education: This job does not have an education qualification requirement.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
