A very stable construction company located in Hicksville is seeking a Billing professional to join its team. This role will be a key part of the accounting department and will work closely with the senior management. The company is very stable and offers a very generous benefits package.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the billing department for a mid-sized construction company
- Complete the AIA Progress Billing for Schedules of Values and Change Orders in a multi company environment.
- Review the accounts receivable aging report for accuracy.
- Quarterly preparation of most recent AIA progress bills for reconciliation and reconciliation between the internal Excel WIP report and GL system.
- Responsible for gathering and submitting supporting documentation for billing submission packages, including Certified Payroll Reports and Insurance Certificates.
- Issuance and distribution of all Billing to clients.
- Deposit all checks and cash applications
- Weekly aging and cash receipts reports.
- Reconciliation between client statements and in-house records.
- Assist in quarter-end and year-end tasks for the accounting close as they relate to Accounts Receivable.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in AIA billing
- Construction company experience
- Strong Systems skills
