Construction Accounting Clerk- Middle River, MD
About the Company and Construction Accounting Clerk Opportunity:
- CFS is partnering with a great repeat client in the construction industry. Due to growth, they are hiring a (Construction) Accounting Clerk to join their small and growing accounting team on a contract to hire basis
- Company culture has been described as laid back, casual, and fun. Employees are well tenured and family oriented.
- Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm but can be slightly flexible if needed. This person will work 100% onsite in Middle River, MD (off Pulaski highway)
- Company offers free parking and a private office to all employees
Job Duties for the Construction Accounting Clerk:
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll duties
- Perform job costing and AIA billing
- Create general ledger entries
- Perform reconciliations
- Perform data entry
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain Excel workbooks
Qualifications of the Construction Accounting Clerk:
- AP, AR, payroll, and/or general ledger experience in construction, trucking, manufacturing, or related industry is required. If you do not have this, you will not be considered!
- Experience using Starbuilder a plus, but not required
- Basic Excel skills (knowledge of basic formulas, able to work comfortably within a spreadsheet)
- Self motivated, reliable, able to prioritize tasks and take ownership!
- Detail oriented, organized, able to work independently
