The Construction Account Manager, will oversee and manage all facets of construction projects from initiation to conclusion. Responsibilities will include collaborating closely with clients to comprehend specific needs and objectives, ensuring alignment between construction services and client expectations, with focus on both cost and revenue considerations. Working closely with project teams, the Construction Account Manager formulates and executes comprehensive project plans, closely monitoring timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Our ideal candidate is experienced in the construction industry and has exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Our Construction Account Manager will be expected to:

• Proactively solicit and acquire new customers ranging from utility districts and contractors, to municipalities, commercial, residential, and private contractors in order to drive business growth and expansion.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with customers, utility districts and contractors, municipalities, commercial, residential, and private contractors.
• Serve as the customer's first line of communication and reference for issues, questions, and support. Manage multiple inbound and outbound phone calls and emails daily.
• Generate new revenue by adding new contracted work.
• Travel throughout the Seattle/Puget Sound Area to attend pre-bid conferences, meet with customers on site, assess project scope and requirements, field measurements, and site visits.
• Evaluate bid documents, construction blueprints, subcontractor and material quotes.
• Analyze and compiles data. Prepare accurate cost estimates, including materials, labor, subcontractors and other resources.
• Create proposals for bid submissions to customers and follow up to secure/review contracts.
• Provide detailed project information to operations, supervisors, and field crews throughout the duration of projects.
• Manage customer projects to ensure deadlines and cost targets are met.
• Resolve service problems by clarifying the customer's concerns, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction, and following up to ensure resolution.
• Provide customer project documentation to the finance team to assist in billing, cost analysis, and revenue.

The ideal experienced Construction Account Manager will have the following:

• 3+ years of experience in construction with a sales-focused background preferred
• Strong customer management skills and a commitment to performing duties with detail and accuracy
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed deadline expectations
• Have an understanding of how to accurately read construction blueprints/specifications
• Thorough understanding of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Knowledge and ability to regularly update Company CRM and project management systems to reflect interactions and job progress with new and existing customers
• Field knowledge in asphalt and/or concrete site work preferred
