About Us: HRU Tech is partnering with Our Client in a leading player in the defense industry, dedicated to shaping the future of complex system development. We're looking for a Configuration Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art defense systems.
Responsibilities:As a Configuration Analyst at HRU Tech, you will play a pivotal role in the Configuration Management (CM) activities related to the design, development, and production of complex systems in a defense environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Change Management: Efficiently manage changes to approved configurations using a systematic and measurable change process.
Documentation: Maintain bills of material (BOMs), deliver and upkeep the engineering technical data package (TDP), and apply CM processes in accordance with the CM Plan.
Quality Audits: Provide essential support for configuration management and quality audits, developing solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Skills Required:We're seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline OR an Associate’s degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience using a database.
Proficiency in computer skills with the MS Office suite to prepare appropriate metrics, reports, and documents.
Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
Attention to detail, coupled with good time management and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing and coordinating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
Skills Preferred:The following skills and experiences would be advantageous:
DoD experience is preferred.
Experience applying industry standards and meeting government requirements.
General knowledge of relevant configuration management and design engineering standards, manufacturing processes, and documentation, including military standards like MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, industry CM standard EIA-649, and Drawing standards ASME Y14.24 and ASME Y14.100.
Formal training in Configuration Data Management (CDM).
Advanced user knowledge of complex formulas in MS Excel, MS Access.
Experience in managing BOM structures is highly desirable.
Oracle ERP experience is desirable.
Familiarity with CMMI requirements is also desirable.
