We are looking for a Conference & Media Technology Specialist in our Cleveland office.
Position Summary:
The Conference & Media Technology Specialist handles direct daily interactions with attorneys, assistants, and staff to facilitate conferencing needs via modern media tools. They assist with requests that may be scheduled, ongoing legal proceedings or short notice meetings, and are the go-to expert in Firm meeting technology.
Essential Functions:
1. Offer guidance and support in the set-up and testing of meetings, including the facilitation of those meetings as needed.
2. Review and validate that scheduled meetings have started.
3. Understands which platforms meet particular client needs and supports the end user accordingly.
4. Learns the ongoing office conferencing needs, knows which platforms meet particular client needs, and directs user accordingly.
5. Assists in the planning, staging, and testing for the facilitation of conferencing needs in the various office locations and passing on knowledge as the platforms and client needs continue to evolve.
6. Oversees the supporting of 12-15 physical conferencing suites as well as local and virtual assistance on all platforms.
7. Monitor weekly conferencing schedule needs and assist where appropriate in any delivery needs for optimal client experience.
8. Quickly assesses and resolves urgent client meeting needs while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
9. Troubleshoots conferencing aesthetics (lighting, sound, webcams) and can coach users on resolving any occurring issues and best practices.
10. Successfully coordinates a multi-site blended conference meeting (physical and virtual) across different time zones.
Qualifications:
The Conference & Media Technology Specialist must have a high school diploma. At least 1 year of relevant experience and solid Windows 10 desktop experience is required. Must be familiar with modern conferencing platforms including but not limited to: WebEx, Zoom, Team platforms, and how to best utilize the platforms and scheduling toolsets. The Conference & Media Technology Specialist must possess strong communication skills and be able to work with the internal team and external parties. They must be able to convey information and knowledge in an effective way for non-tech users. An ability to balance multiple requests and maintaining the highest level of client service is essential.
