Condominium Security Officer

Platinum Group Security is looking to expand our team in the Boca Raton Area!!! We are looking for seasoned Security Officer with exceptional customer service skills. We are looking to place these guards at one of our many luxury properties to patrol the exterior of the building and deter, and most importantly report any activity.

Job Brief:

We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior.

Officers are asked to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions.

The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Pay Rate: $19.00/HR

Open Schedule: Monday and Tuesday (3pm-11pm), Thursday and Friday (10am-6pm), & Sunday (12pm-8pm)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Front Desk/ Foot Rover/Concierge

· Monitor and authorize entrance of people on the property while following proper procedure to grant access to visitors, vendors and contractors.

· Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.

· Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.

· Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.

· Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.

· Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter.

· Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.

· Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.

Requirements:

· Have a valid Security D License

· Have a valid Driver’s License

· Have strong customer service skills

· Have strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment

· Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

· Surveillance skills and detail orientation

· Integrity and professionalism

The physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time.
