Concrete Batch Plant Loader/Operator - Traveling

Summary

At Hi-Way Paving our Loader/Operators contribute to our construction and paving operations by operating front-end loaders and other machinery at our Concrete Batch Plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the manufacturer’s and company's operating safety policies and procedures.
  
• Assist mechanic(s) and provide recommendations for repair, maintenance, and improving performance.
• Load and unload equipment and materials from job-site surfaces, vehicles, and/or trailers.
• Ensure company equipment, material, and the worksite are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation, as required.
• Other duties as assigned or as needed for a specific piece of equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating a loader in a Concrete Batch Plant environment. preferred.
• Experience operating any or all of the following:
  • Excavators
  • Loaders
  • GOMACO Slip Form Paver
  • GOMACO Concrete Belt Placer Spreader
  • GOMACO Cure-Texture machine
  • GOMACO 9500 RTP
  • ABG Titan Paver
  • Voegele Paver
• Heavy or highway construction experience, preferred.
  
• Ability to gain clearance in restricted/high-security zones. (Airport AOA, Military Bases, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Valid CDL, preferred.
• Physical capabilities required are climbing, lifting, carrying a minimum of 75 lbs., standing, sitting, walking, entering confined spaces, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and performing repetitive actions.
