Description
This position provides support under the Hospitality department for events and rentals at the Community Arts Center, including alcohol beverage/concession sales, running the cash register, empty trash, prepping food, cleaning Catering Kitchen and Café, and providing other services to ensure an exceptional experience at the Fairfield Community Arts Center and South Trace Golf Course.

Examples of Duties
- Pour and dispense alcoholic beverages to legal age guests
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages and self-service areas for all guests
- Inventory and restock concession food and beverages
- Ensure building concession storage areas are organized, cleaned and properly maintained
- Operate the cash register for all concession sales and prepare deposits
- Maintain cleanliness of Concession area, Catering Kitchen and Café, including trash removal
- Prepare food with minimal supervisions for Parks events as needed.
- Assist with guest services for theatre events, golf outings, and programs. Provides directions and other general assistance to public.
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Any other duties that are assigned
Typical Qualifications
Effective oral and written communications skills; leadership and managerial skill. Ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to develop and maintain working relationships. Minimum qualifications include: High School Diploma or GED and a valid Ohio Driver’s License. Must be age 21 or older at time of hire.
Supplemental Information
Moderate physical effort required in administering the Fairfield Community Arts Center; moving cases of water/pop, cases of alcohol, and other materials and supplies. Maximum unassisted lift is 50 lbs.’ average 15 lbs. Requires the ability to drive an automobile. Requires ability to communicate verbally in person and via telephone. May require travel by car and driving to other sites. Work is both outdoors and indoors.
