We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Concession Worker to join our team. As a Concession Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while operating the concession stand at our Railcats Baseball Location. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for the food industry.
About Us:
The Creamery is a local ice cream & fast-food restaurant with seven locations in the south suburbs, and an active catering division with Satellite Locations across the region. We are currently looking to fill Crew positions at RailCats Baseball for a seasonal role with a start date of May, 2024.
Our restaurants have been a staple in the south suburbs for decades and we are aggressively growing to include additional locations, food trucks, a variety of catering packages and a more extensive dessert menu.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve a variety of concession food items, such as popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, and beverages
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the concession stand area
- Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with cleaning duties before, during, and after events
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Previous experience in the culinary or food service industry is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
