Concession Stand Worker

Overview

The Concession Stand Worker will be responsible for food preparation, cleanliness, and overall successful daily operation of the Concession Stand at Jack Williams Stadium, home of Fargo Post 2 American Legion Baseball.

Duties and Responsibilities

Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:

• Operate the Square point-of-sale system and assist volunteers as needed
• Prepare and serve food items such as popcorn, hot dogs, burgers and frozen pizza
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Concession Stand
• Work shifts during baseball games and tournaments 3-4 days per week

Qualifications

• Ability to work 20-30 hours per week, depending on game schedules
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift approximately 25 pounds
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods effectively
• Strong basic math skills for handling cash and inventory management
• Strong customer service skills and ability to collaborate with team members

Other Information

• This position reports to the Concession Stand Manager
• Pay is $15 per hour for daytime, evening and weekend shifts June and July
• Additional opportunities to work may be available in spring and fall

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
