Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all technicians and operators have the necessary tools and equipment.
2. Assign repair tasks to staff, maintaining a balanced workload to achieve productivity and quality objectives.
3. Provide or secure assistance and support for staff members as needed.
4. Ensure compliance with processes such as 5S, gather data for corrective and preventive action, and report results to management.
5. Facilitate the continuous and efficient flow of products through assigned operations, taking prompt action to resolve bottlenecks.
6. Supervise employees to ensure adherence to company policies and practices, including counseling, time management, and performance evaluations.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams as required to meet daily operational performance targets and report progress.
8. Conduct interviews for production positions to maximize retention and contribute to production efficiency.
9. Maintain open communication channels between employees and senior management.
10. Strive to achieve positive outcomes in quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale, continuously seeking improvement in all areas.
11. Fulfill other duties as assigned by management, including participation in process improvement initiatives or leadership roles.
Education, Training, and Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Preferably a Computer Training Diploma or a 2-year degree in a Computer-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Assembling/Disassembling, Repairing, or Troubleshooting Computers or Electronics.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a Production or Warehouse Environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Hand Power Tools is advantageous.
- Effective communication of performance expectations is essential.
- Advanced knowledge of Computer Hardware is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office is necessary.
- Ability to stand for long periods and frequently lift and/or move items.
- Capability to work independently without direct supervision.
