Computer Data Analyst

Summary:

An Analyst on the ADT Depot Services team will be responsible for both project-based and day-to-day operational activities needed to support our Business Teams, end users, and IT leadership. The Depot Services team is responsible for the procurement, provisioning, deployment, reporting, reclamation, and disposal of end user compute devices (laptops, desktops, and tablets) and peripherals. The Analyst will be responsible for autonomously completing assigned tasks and projects in support of the team's overall responsibilities. General tasks will include reporting and data analysis, process analysis and improvement, hardware asset lifecycle management, device and peripheral procurement, inventory monitoring and reporting, leading end user device deployment projects, and working ticket queues in Service Now.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, evaluate, improve, and document processes and workflows. Identify and take advantage of opportunities for process automation and simplification.
• Manage hardware asset life cycle from device procurement through disposal.
• Manage bulk deployments such as device refresh projects and special deployments with minimal oversight.
• Analyze, document, and improve hardware asset and CI discovery processes in Service Now and with vendors.
• Collaborate with Business and IT teams to understand future state needs and drive solutions.
• Monitor and report on inventory levels of end user compute devices and peripheral items.
• Execute device and peripheral procurement as needed, including cost allocations to appropriate departments based on consumption data.
• Lead discussions with Business teams to understand their objectives and translate them into an action plan.
• Help manage/reconcile data from vendor used for various services including procurement, repair, deployment, and disposal.
• Work with business teams to understand hiring forecasts and translate that info stock level management and procurement needs.
• Reconcile invoices and payments made for services and products.
• Working ticket queues in Service Now and reporting SLAs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Visio (or similar process visualization/documentation tool), collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, PowerApps, etc.), etc.
• Very proficient in Excel and use of formulas in Excel (Macros a plus), to quickly analyze/shape large data sets.
• Self-starting. Ability to manage one's own time and prioritize tasks for self and others.
• Strong analytical skills. Possess the ability to identify patterns in data, understand/improve processes, and think forward to the impacts today's decisions will have in the future.
• Strong problem-solving skills. identify issues, resolve them, prevent future occurrences.
• Data processing, reporting, and documentation skills. Transform data into a story that can be concisely communicated to management.
• Effective communication skills. Must be able to clearly communicate ideas and information with other IT and non-technical Business teams.
• Experience working with external vendors; both product and service providers.

Education and Experience:

• Three to five years' experience relevant to listed responsibilities.
• Experience with Service Now platform including Asset Management, CI Management, and Catalog Management.
• Experience with PC/Device as a Service implementation a strong plus.
• Experience automating processes/workflows in Service Now and other tools a strong plus.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred. 

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $51,600 - $103,200 and is based on experience and qualifications.

Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.
