Qualifications/Requirements:
- Possession of a valid current Idaho Educational Credential authorizing service as a Secondary Teacher with appropriate course endorsement(s) OR be willing to pursue an Occupational Specialist Teaching Certificate through the Idaho Division of Professional-Technical Education and the Idaho State Department of Education.
- Meet highly qualified status as defined by the state through appropriate exam, test(s) and/or industry endorsements.
- Experience with CNC machines desired.
- Knowledge of: Care and maintenance of a CADD system, manual drafting standards and practices, the latest version of AutoCAD and other related software, use of manual drafting tools and equipment, scales, orthographic projection, current industry trends, methodology, and practices, drafting standards, practices, and building codes.
- Since educational levels and work experiences vary, applicants may be determined highly qualified under any one (1) of three (3) options; which include; having completed 16,000 hour/8 years of full-time successful, recent and gainful employment in the occupation for which certification is requested. Journeyman/post-secondary training/a specific occupation. Bachelor's degree will be considered when determining qualifications.
