The Comprehensive Pain Management Service (CPMS) APP helps to facilitate the delivery of Comprehensive Pain Management Services at Dayton Children's Hospital. The position works in collaboration with the Medical Director of CPMS, the Acute Pain Service, the Chronic Pain Service, and multiple other providers to ensure high quality, safe, patient focused care. Collaboration with other involved specialties include, but are not limited to, neurology, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, hematology/oncology, gastroenterology, and surgery.
The CPMS APP reports directly to the Medical Director of CPMS, within the Department of Anesthesia.
The APP will have his/her own clinic seeing wound and burn patients as well as be responsible for post-operative follow-ups. APP will participate in wound care procedures in the OR under sedation and will actively participate with the Surgeons in-patient care.
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner Program. 3-4 years specializing in nursing. NP licensure in State of Ohio.
