Compounder Processor

$21 to $23 PER HOUR
DESCRIPTION
As a Blending Operator - Processor, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of dietary supplements meets specifications by following master manufacturing records, and performing all related activities for preparation while adhering to EHS and cGMP requirements. Utilizing blending machines, they create homogeneous mixtures or compounds according to specified guidelines
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizing blending machines to create homogeneous mixtures or compounds as per the given specifications.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and areas following respective work instructions. Inspect necessary tools and equipment before use to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Weigh and validate raw materials, and dietary supplements as required in the batch card. Report any issues to the manager
- Operate blending machine independently as well as within a team environment.
- Monitor blending operations and report any abnormal conditions to the manager.
- Read and follow master manufacturing records.
- Collect and test in-process or final dietary supplements as required in the master manufacturing record.
- Document activities performed following cGMPs.
- Follow all safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
- Perform any additional duties as required by the manager. Repair quotes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Chemistry or related field preferred
- At least one (1) to (3) years of related experience and/or training in compounding in related industries (e.g. Gummies and nutrition)
- Background in chemistry or related classes preferred.
- Experience in related industries: Cosmetics, Personal Care, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage
- Experience in formulation.
- Occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more
- Blending machines proficiency
- Regular light lifting of 10 – 30 lbs
- Climbing Stairs
- Required to continually stand.
- Reach with arms and hands.
- Use hands and fingers to carry and grasp objects.
- Employees should practice good personal hygiene including but not limited to washing their hands after using the bathroom.
