The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Compliance team, you will work within the regulatory framework and compliance requirements. The Compliance Department is dedicated to preserving the safety and soundness of its operations by protecting DTCC's reputation in the global financial community and complying with applicable laws and regulations. Its main responsibility is the development and maintenance of DTCC's Compliance Program and to provide enterprise-wide oversight support to DTCC's subsidiaries and business areas. Being an Associate Director on the Compliance Risk Assessment and Testing team, you will risk assess and test controls for adherence to regulatory requirement and industry standards, while managing a dynamic team with members in different locations.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces and builds relationships with the business and support functions to understand tactical and big picture issues in the organization
  • Develops and executes Risk Assessments to identify and evaluate Compliance Risks at DTCC
  • Develops and completes test plans to assess the effectiveness of the control environment established by DTCC to comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Identifies control deficiencies, evaluates the impact, and assists the business with identifying sustainable corrective actions
  • Documents work performed clearly and concisely and prepares well-written reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with minimum 5 years of related experience.

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Previous experience in compliance testing or auditing required
  • Previous experience in risk executing assessments (for example: Compliance Risk Self-Assessments (CRSAs), Operational Risk Assessments, Internal Audit Risk Assessments, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of and ability to interpret financial services industry regulatory requirements
  • Highly flexible, able to change direction based on business needs, and multi-project oriented
  • Ability to collaborate with various levels of management

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
