Compliance Data Analyst-Investigator
Job Description:
Provides review, analysis, coordination of activities and investigative support for all Compliance activities; objectively and effectively analyzes and investigates complaints of alleged unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment, and other violations of rights relative to assigned program areas and appropriately applies relevant laws and District policies to make recommendations; prepare reports; assists the Compliance Officer in providing education, training and outreach programming related to civil rights laws and the District's policies; and assists in ensuring the District's compliance with Title IX, and other state and federal statutes. Develops and promotes good community relations among various district and community clientele.
MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Title IX Investigator Training Certification preferred.
- Formal training in conducting investigations involving staff in an education setting preferred.
ESSENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Work is performed in a general office setting. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate

Position Specific Information (if Applicable):
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive, consistent and effective investigative process for the department. Maintain accurate tracking, records, data and reporting of all cases and matters related to Title IX. Provide information and reports to the Compliance Officer and provide updates to the CHRO and other district leaders as required.
Conduct confidential investigations at the direction of the Compliance Officer with an emphasis on student-related matters. Partner with the HR Compliance Liaison on Title IX and employment discrimination investigations for employees.
Work with the Compliance Officer to ensure appropriate Cabinet and District leaders are aware of all current investigations.
Follow compliance best practices and ensure processes are followed, relative to the Title IX formal grievance process, and investigation procedure requirements under Title IX and the district discrimination policies.
Prepare confidential, comprehensive, and accurate investigation reports summarizing evidence gathered, providing analysis, and issuing findings of fact, to support potential personnel actions and recommendations.
Work closely with and communicate with the Compliance Officer to ensure accountability and that procedures, reporting and investigations are comprehensive and properly executed.
Maintain knowledge and application of federal, state and local laws related to the work of the department.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

$73,599.81 USD - $108,791.95 USD Annual
  • All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
