This position is for the Southwest Arkansas Live Complex. The successful candidate will not be moved into this position until on or around August 2024, date subject to change.
This position is slated for candidates who are currently working at the Hope Complex or Nashville Complex. Priority consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If local Team Members are not selected or positions still available, Team Members from other locations will then be reviewed for consideration.
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the live production activities and efforts of the Team Members in a specific at the Southwest Arkansas Live Complex in order to produce profitable quality products within a safe environment and in a timely manner that meets the needs of the customer. This position is also responsible for leading the Live production operations team at this location to achieve operational metrics established by the Division VP and in coordination with the plant production teams that this complex will supply and support, and to provide our customers exceptional quality and service in alignment with Tyson Foods core values and company strategy. Responsibilities include: coordinating live production units to achieve company-wide and individual complex goals with a minimum amount of waste or rework; establishing complex objectives; identifying the requirements to meet production needs; providing leadership direction in establishing a safe environment and a Good Neighbor policy with the community. Other responsibilities include providing direction and assisting in the development of managers that can be promoted to higher levels of responsibility; ensuring company personnel and benefit policies are implemented properly; evaluating various capital projects submitted by management to determine their feasibility; approving all new hires and overseeing personnel salaries and wages; performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 10 plus years minimum experience in live operations and technical skills.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office and company specific live production systems and applications.
Travel: 12 plus trips per year.
Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for managing multiple groups of personnel who perform dissimilar tasks and activities in several different departments.
