Job Description Summary:
As a part of GM's Human Resources Group, you are a driver of the development, implementation, communication of our global and regional compensation programs. You are consistently providing ongoing evaluation of our programs to identify areas of improvement.
Responsibilities
- You will benchmark salary, cash, and pay ranges for GM’s global workforce
- You will support budget and allocation for GM’s annual merit increase and variable pay programs
- You will consult on the design of pay practices to ensure General Motors is attracting and retaining the right talent to achieve company objectives
- You will oversee GM’s benchmarking and participation in market-based surveys.
- You will effectively communicate change while anticipating the right questions and supporting materials for various stakeholder engagement on change management
- Ability to use data to develop conclusions and recommendations to support compensation issues
Requirements
- Minimum -2-4 years of experience working as a Compensation or Financial analyst
- Minimum- 2-4 years of experience working with Data and Excel
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report onsite at the Sunnyvale Technical Center - Sunnyvale Technical Center or Warren GPS - Warren GPS (CL) three times per week, at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business.

- Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is : $80,100 - $122,800 . Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
