Compassionate, In Home Caregiver Needed!

Compassionate Home Care is currently looking for a reliable, compassionate In Home Caregiver for clients in Elk River, Big Lake and Anoka. This position would start as part time afternoons, M-F.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Valid MN Driver's license.
• Vehicle insurance.
• Reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior caregiving experience (1+ years in-home or facility setting).
• CNA. (Not required)
• PCA. (Not required)
• CPR certification. (Not required)

Screening:

• Must pass a company paid DHS background check.

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

• Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and linen changes.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.
• Prepare meals and snacks. May include grocery shopping.
• Assist with incontinence care.
• Assist with transportation needs.
• Assisting with budgets and money management.
• Assisting with communications (e.g., sorting mail, accessing email, placing phone calls, making appointments).
• Provide care based on an individualized plan of care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
