Community Relations Coordinator

Develops printed and audio/visual materials needed to provide the image of the WCBDD and people with developmental disabilities including: External quarterly newsletters; Annual Reports; Brochures; Agency Calendar; Annual DD Awareness Month Posters; Specialized Documents; Strategic Plan Document; WCBDD Agency Event Flyers/PR; Press Releases; Other related publications; News features; Video presentations and/or coordination of agency video; Writes and distributes positive news stories about individuals served by WCBDD; Writes and distributes press releases for the agency.
Provides assistance to Community Integration Coordinator and Advocacy Coordinator. Assist with county-wide activities including community integration and recreation events, self-advocacy events, and other programming facilitated by the Human Resources and Community Relations division. Ongoing development of additional programming opportunities that focus on community integration for individuals receiving services from WCBDD.
Responsible for social media monitoring and updates; Assists with photography at agency events; Works in conjunction with WCBDD staff to maintain and update website content.
Represents WCBDD at various community forums/booths; Acts as a liaison between the WCBDD and other community organizations, agencies, and businesses; Helps maintain stock of public relations materials.
Represents WCBDD with the Southwestern Ohio Council of Governments Public Relations Committee.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
