If you would enjoy working with Community Studio leaders across our footprint to win and deliver innovative Community projects, send us a letter of interest and your resume!

More about the Community Practice Leader role:

The Community Practice Leader role is similar to being “CEO of a firm within a firm”; you’ll collaborate with Community Studio leaders across our offices to achieve success in key areas:

VISION

  • In collaboration with the leaders in Community, you’ll lead the creation of a strategic plan that inspires fellow leaders and team members for nationwide growth that differentiates Little in ways that matter to our clients.

CULTURE

  • You’ll help foster a culture of collaboration and thought leadership across the Practice, while helping to facilitate the sharing of people, ideas, and resources across our offices.

GROWTH

  • You’ll marshal the resources of a national practice to create growth and diversification plans.
  • You’ll lead key pursuits, and support Studio Principals in major project pursuits as a coach.
  • You’ll collaborate with Office Presidents and Design Partners to create new Community studios, disciplines, and services.

CLIENTS

  • You’ll maintain high-level relationships with key Community clients and prospects.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

  • Coaching, mentoring, supporting, and developing leaders and team members to their fullest potential.

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

  • Being an industry visionary and the ‘face of Little’ for the Community Practice, positioning Little as thought leaders in each market sector and representing us at client and industry conferences and events through writing and speaking.

You are an ideal candidate for us if:

  • You have a reputation as someone who brings out the best in others.
  • You are a progressive thinker and continuous learner, good at identifying emerging trends and helping our clients capitalize on them.
  • You’re a strong strategic planner, good at building consensus and commitment among others.
  • You excel at creating happy, loyal clients and teammates.
  • You enjoy networking, seeking project opportunities, and competing for new clients and projects.

Ideal candidates will possess some or all of the following qualifications:

  • An Architect or Planner with 10 or more years of experience, including demonstrated leadership responsibilities and accomplishments.
  • Experience with Community clients and project types.
  • A demonstrated affinity for thought leadership, which may be expressed in ambitious projects, speaking and/or writing engagements, industry recognition, etc.

This person may be located in any of our offices in the US – Charlotte, NC; Charleston, SC; Durham, NC; Newport Beach, CA; Orlando, FL; or Washington D.C. If you would like to be considered for this role, please submit a resume and a one-page Letter of Interest.

In your Letter of Interest, please describe how your skills, talents, and career experiences have prepared you to succeed in this role. You may include links to examples of relevant experiences if you wish.
