Community Outreach & Early Childhood Engagement Vista-Ogden

Member Duties : Create a DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) improvement and outreach plan to ensure that the program is educated on local agencies that serve culturally diverse populations of individuals and implement practices into the Welcome Baby Program that will ensure a more effective method of serving families who are not natively English-speaking. Create a robust outreach and recruitment plan to enroll 18 AmeriCorps State and National members into the Welcome Baby Program, to serve as Home Visitation Coordinators in Box Elder, Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, and Summit counties. Create a training outline to ensure a smooth and thorough rollout of new program curriculum guidebooks in Weber County for home visitors with Spanish-speaking families.
