This is a full-time position located in Augusta and allows for partial telework with management approval. 

 

Core Responsibilities:

As a Management Analyst I in the Office of Behavioral Health, you will: 

•    Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis data to support the Community Mental Health Team. 
•    Provide consultation and support for data analysis, use of data to make data driven decisions, and data visualizations. 
•    Develop and revise manuals and provide trainings pertaining to data collection, data management, and data analysis. 
•    Assist other members of the OBH data team with analytics related to federal reporting and compliance. 
•    Examine programs, policies, procedures, and practices regarding the data, federal reporting, and data use, in order to make recommendations for changes and/or updates.
•    Prepare reports, presentations, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders. 

This position will interact with members of the COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH team as well as the data team staff daily to ensure that all COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH DATA and evaluation needs are met.  The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, be organized, and a strong team player. The OBH Data Team is a highly collaborative unit that often experiences peak, high-paced periods throughout the year. You may also be responsible for assisting the team on other various tasks as needed. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

In order to qualify, you must have six (6) years of education, training, and/or experience analyzing, evaluating, and/or developing improvements to organizational and/or managerial systems, programs, and practices.

Preferred candidates will have: 
•    A proven demonstration of data analysis skills including the use of Excel, Tableau, and other similar programs. 
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
•    The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external partners.
